Australian Alumni Association of Lesotho

Who are we

Australia Alumni Association of Lesotho (AAAL) is a legally registered non-governmental entity with members who hold various positions in different Government Ministries and the private sectors in and outside the country. The association is established by Basotho nationals who, through the assistance extended to Lesotho Government, have studied in Australia under its ‘Australia-Awards-Africa’ (AAA) Programme. The aim of the Association is to promote development and enhance the welfare of Basotho by volunteering community development activities.

Membership

Members are;

1. Alumni of the Australian scholarships Program. This covers Basotho who received both short-term and long-term scholarships to study in Australia.

2. Students currently studying in Australia on a long or short-term basis, and who are under the Australian Scholarships Program

3. Affiliates – people who are not Australian Alumni but have interest in the association’s activities
