Mount Royal Inclusive School
With financial assistance from the office of Australian High Commissioner to Lesotho, the Association:
Installed a borehole at Mount Royal Inclusive School to assist the school with water (more than 40% children at this school are deaf). It was during the Covid 19 Pandemic when one of the Association’s members visited the school on duty and found that children were not in classrooms but out fetching water from nearby public water sources. The member got worried as it was clear the strict health protocols of the time brought by the pandemic were not observed, so she proposed to the Association to consider raising funds to assist the school with a borehole.
